Two Sigma Investments is searching for a senior technology project manager, initially focused on the building out of the next generation of the firm’s scalable investment management post-trade platform.  This individual will be responsible for the project management and coordination of large projects spanning multiple software engineering teams.  An individual in this role will be responsible for partnering with engineering team leads to ensure projects are running well, issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner, and stakeholders are kept abreast of progress. This individual will ensure the teams are employing project management best practices and contribute towards continuous improvement of project management practices across the firm.  


You should possess the following qualifications:


  • 7+ years of relevant experience in technical project management, including managing large cross-team projects

  • Advanced program management and project management skills

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven record of attention to detail

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent presentation preparation skills

  • Experience managing all stages of a project lifecycle via Agile methodologies

  • High Proficiency with Jira, Visio, Google Sheets or Excel, Powerpoint or Google Slides

  • BS or MS in Engineering


Ideal candidates will have:


  • Experience in the fintech, investment management, fund administration, clearing, or prime brokerage space

  • Successfully partnered with development teams to execute a technology strategy that realized material business objectives.

  • Delivered technology and developed subject matter expertise across a few of the following areas: portfolio financing, cash & collateral management, cash portfolio management, position keeping, confirmation, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, or post-trade event processing, (e.g. corporate actions, conversions).
