Two Sigma's Market Data Reliability Engineering team is growing. We are looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer to help to assist in maintaining and advancing our trading platform by working closely with multiple trading teams to ensure the low latency delivery of market data and orders to and from exchanges and other counterparties across a wide variety of asset classes. You will take on the following responsibilities:
  • Develop, operate, and maintain the infrastructure vital to ensure that market data is processed, stabilized and redistributed in a live production environment.
  • Work with trading desks to ensure successful trading and minimal outages
  • Implement and operate tools to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations
  • Work directly with exchanges, counterparties, and data providers to bring value to all the trading desks at Two Sigma.

You should possess the following qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or another highly technical, scientific field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required; 5+ years of experience preferred in programming (structured and OO) with one or more high level language (such as Python, Java, C++) 
  • Experience with market data production support and/or trade desk support, and knowledge of market microstructure, is preferred but not required
  • Linux administration experience. In-depth knowledge of networking technology (such as kernel bypass) is preferred, but not required
  • Proven track record of supporting live production systems
