We are seeking a talented, driven individual to join Two Sigma Securities’ accounting team. The role offers opportunities to collaborate with several teams within the company, including Trading, Operations, Technology, Legal/Compliance and Treasury. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks including the following: monthly account reconciliations and journal entries; month-end financial statement process; regulatory filings; coordination of annual tax and audit process; preparation of audited financial statements; interactions with our clearing broker, administrator, and third party service providers; management reporting; implementing policies, procedures and internal controls; ad hoc reporting and administrative duties.

You will take on the following responsibilities:
- Daily and monthly posting of journal entries
- Cash reconciliations
- Month-end financial statement process
- Preparation and monitoring of regulatory reporting and requirements
- Coordination of annual tax and audit process
- Preparation of annual audited financial statements
- Daily and monthly financial reporting
- Work on procedure/control enhancements as well as automating procedures.
- Collaborate on ad-hoc projects and business initiatives with trading teams
You must possess the following qualifications:
- 3-5 years of public and/or private experience in broker-dealers or hedge funds
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Extremely strong academic record
- CPA certification is highly preferred
- Series 27 license is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills required
- Self-awareness, maturity and irreproachable integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

The base pay for this role will be between $100,000 and $150,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
