We are seeking a communications professional to help drive forward our internal and external communications plans, with a focus on crafting internal and executive leadership communications to help inform, inspire, and engage our people. You will be responsible for building new programs and implementing existing initiatives that help drive employee engagement and bolster our employee experience. You will take on the following responsibilities:
- Draft internal communications across channels and formats (bi-weekly newsletter, Intranet, emails), as well as some external communications (talking points, bios, LinkedIn posts, website copy)
- Serve as the manager of the company intranet, Two Sigma’s primary internal communications channel
- Develop comprehensive communications strategies for company announcements and business updates across internal and external audiences
- Support senior leadership messaging initiatives internally, establishing relationships with and managing communications for key collaborators
- Serve as a bridge between internal and external communications efforts, identifying opportunities to leverage internal work externally and vice versa
- Help with the build and management of small and large-scale events such as Town Halls
- Work with HR to plan various HR communications, in areas such as benefits, employee programs and annual processes
- Monitor and assist in gaining employee feedback
- Collaborate with third party vendors and the Brand team
- Support large-scale Marketing & Communications projects, including Investor Day
You should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or the humanities
- 3-5 years of communications experience, either at a leading public relations agency or corporate role with specific experience working on employee-facing and senior leadership communications
- Experience in financial services, tech or AI fields
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to navigate sensitive projects with discretion and good judgement
- An ability to establish positive relationships at all levels of an organization and balance multiple partner groups
- Experience crafting and facilitating events
- Familiarity with using multi-channel and online solutions for communications
- Media relations experience not required, but a plus
- A self-starter, with capability to set and meet deadlines, work under pressure and balance multiple priorities
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Creativity and strong critical thinking skills
- Be intellectually inquisitive and eager to explore and implement data-driven and innovative solutions

The base pay for this role will be between $100,000 and $150,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
