Two Sigma is seeking a copywriter who can produce clear and engaging content that reflects our brand with SEO and or/UX experience. This includes written material for digital channels including short form articles, social media, digital ads, website content and third-party digital platforms. You will be expected to collaborate with other members of our marketing team to develop copy and complete revisions to contribute to our overall brand and campaign strategy.
You will take on the following responsibilities:
- Writing clear and compelling content for our website including short-form articles and copy for landing pages with a goal in mind
- Collaborating and writing briefs for projects with the marketing team’s agency partners
- Producing and editing copy for social media, emails and other promotional materials
- Collaborating with members of the marketing team to understand the intended message, brand voice and target audience
- Proposing copy concepts in an engaging way, appealing to-and persuading readers
- Partner with communications to creatively promote media, conferences and news
- Collaborating across the Brand team to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials
- Writing and structuring copy that moves digital users toward accomplishing a goal in an intuitive way
- Researching keywords, producing interesting written content and proofreading work for accuracy and quality
- Using data to help inform and shape content creation
- Assist the digital marketing lead on shaping the future of SEO/UX strategy
You Should possess the following qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in professional writing; 3-5 years of experience in professional writing is preferred
- BA or BS in a related field
- Previous experience in writing about financial topics or another technical field
- Previous experience with SEO/UX
- Experience producing copy for websites and digital media channels
- Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns
- Ability to multitask and create content that is free of errors, follows grammatical rules, aligns with brand and meets deadlines
- Exceptional skill in SEO concepts, social media and writing for websites
- Proficiency with common office software
- Growth mindset, creative, adaptable and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
