TSIQ is looking for a Front End Software Engineering Manager to lead, manage, and grow our front-end focused team. The manager is expected to actively participate in developing both Web UI and back-end systems. Previous team-lead or management experience is required. Ideal candidates will be proficient in a JavaScript framework (e.g. Angular or React) as well as general programming languages such as Java and CS fundamentals. The candidate will be expected to work with external partners to implement their requirements as well as work within our own engineering team to understand and improve our APIs and platform. 

Relevant Experience:

  • Experience leading or managing an engineering team building enterprise software
  • Mentor and provide both technical and career guidance to team members
  • Experience building both UI and back-end systems
    • Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript
    • Frameworks: React/Redux, Angular 2
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • Ability to partner with product owners to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Experience working with external customers or partners
  • Provide architectural guidance and oversight to team members
  • Maintain a “big picture” view of overall architecture to ensure integration into an overall architectural vision and strategy
  • Ability to quickly translate requirements into a prototype to prove out the design
  • Experience with agile development practices
  • Ability to break work down into stories and estimate, prioritize, and plan work items to be handled during sprints and milestones
  • Experience with AWS and/or GCP and developing Cloud solutions
