We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Engineer to join our Broker Dealer Engineering (BD Eng) team. BD Eng collaborates with modelers, traders, and corporate teams to develop tools, UIs, trade surveillance systems, and reports that provide access to trading data, enhance visibility, control, and analytics for TSS trading. A key focus of this role will be designing and managing trading UIs for our Options Market Making business, which is where we are looking to strengthen our existing engineering team.
You should possess the following qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years of proven experience developing web applications preferred
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, GRPC and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on coding experience and a deep understanding of design, architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with frontend tooling like Node.js, yarn, and JEST is a plus.
- Knowledge of web service architecture for building scalable and resilient systems.
- Experience in full-stack development with C++ / Java / Python backend is a plus.
- Previous experience with trading systems is a plus.

The base pay for this role will be between $165,000 and $300,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
