HR Systems Engineer

Two Sigma is looking for an HR Systems Engineer to support, evolve and administer our Human Resources cloud based and third party vendor systems. The ideal candidate will have a broad functional knowledge of Human Resources and familiar with applicant tracking systems, core HCM systems, benefits, compensation, learning management, report creation, security administration, integrations, and payroll. They will be a capable team member, able to contribute to the evolution our HR systems and related applications to meet the evolving needs of the company and its affiliates. This role will report into the firm’s Engineering organization and partner closely with our HR organization to deliver on day to day and projects.

You consider yourself to be an owner of the HR systems for which we are responsible.
On a daily basis, you provide active support for our HR systems, generating and delivering on solutions to make the client experience better, innovatively finding ways to automate and remove paper processes as well as contributing to and driving small to medium sized projects.
You are the key contact for our HR clients. They will consult with you for support on data, configuration or process issues, collaborate on solutions, troubleshoot complicated discrepancies and ask you to configure enhancements for quick wins.
You are the spokesperson for adoption of our HR systems - teaching our clients how to use our systems and encouraging independent working.
You use your deep knowledge of our policy standards to audit and govern the data within our access, administer security protocols, and conduct regular reviews to ensure user account privileges are compliant to firm policy.
You manage work - your own and the work you assign to our vendors, using various project management tools and methods. You track progress, report on status and meet deadlines.
You perform system maintenance checks. You ensure all integrations are running on schedule and with no issues.
You are the point of contact for system upgrades, working with internal Engineering teams, the vendor and Human Resources to release thoroughly tested enhancements and conduct any user training.
You write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools for data quality analytics, client and ad hoc requests.
Last but not least, you will be trained, asked to maintain certifications and attend key conferences. You will be expected to share what you are learning with your colleagues in Engineering and Human Resources.
A successful candidate is extremely collaborative, proactively shares knowledge and expertise with the rest of the team and is comfortable tackling all components of the team’s responsibilities.
Education and Experience
You are experienced and have a track record of optimizing HRIS applications.
BA or BS plus 3-6 years of industry related experience
You have a thirst to help an organization maximize its potential through technical efficiencies and automation
You are proficient with Microsoft Excel, JIRA and SQL
You have strong verbal, written and organizational skills
