Head of Compensation Business Partners

We are seeking a highly data-driven, analytical and collaborative individual to lead all Compensation Business Partnership. 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Collaborating with HR Business Partners to provide strategic and day-to-day compensation support to senior business leaders across the company
  • Leading the research, analysis and development of new compensation programs and structures
  • Overseeing the research and analysis of market data to ensure competitiveness of compensation programs
  • Supporting all functional business leaders in the firm-wide annual compensation process, including the building and management of compensation models, budgets and analyses
  • Developing presentations and proposals for executive management 
  • Partnering with business leaders, HR Business Partners and the Recruiting team to ensure competitive and equitable offers

Requirements Include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
  • 15 years of progressive compensation experience in the Financial Services or Technology industries
  • Experience designing, developing, analyzing and implementing a variety of compensation plans and structures, including employee equity, carried interest, salary structures, deferred compensation and other incentive programs
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to navigate through ambiguity and drive projects to completion
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing deadlines
  • Strong management skills to supervise a small team
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented, with an ability to think strategically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced MS Excel is a must; knowledge of MS Access, VBA and Tableau preferred
  • Management consulting experience a plus
  • Workday experience preferred
