We are seeking a strategic and creative Talent Marketing professional to join the Marketing & Communications team to focus on boosting our efforts to attract, engage and recruit top-tier talent. Reporting to the head of Brand Content, this highly cross-functional role works closely with the HR Recruitment function to devise and deliver impactful talent content and marketing campaigns.
This is a hands-on role for a confident, collaborative, and exceptionally organized marketing professional with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity. Experience with the investment management or technology industries is preferred and experience in talent or recruitment marketing is required. The candidate will be a proven collaborator, self-motivated with sharp attention to detail. You will take on the following responsibilities:
Developing and Implementing Plans
- Develop and implement data-driven talent marketing strategies that align with business objectives and talent acquisition goals.
- Develop multi-channel campaigns targeting specific talent segments including PhD or equivalent researchers, experienced quants, software engineers, interns, and early-career professionals.
- Develop benchmarks and indicators to measure the efficiency of talent marketing initiatives and continuously optimize approaches based on performance data.
Brand Development & Positioning
- Partner with HR, Recruitment and broader Communications & Marketing teams to shape and communicate our employer value proposition to differentiate us in the competitive quant finance landscape.
- Develop compelling narratives around our research culture, technology infrastructure, intellectual challenges, and career development opportunities.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all talent-facing touchpoints and materials.
Content Strategy & Creation
- Create engaging content that speaks to our target audiences and showcases our firm's culture, capabilities, and career opportunities. This could include thought leadership pieces, employee stories, video content, and interactive experiences.
- Proactively pitch creative ideas and new ways to meet business goals – conceptual thinking and imaginative solutions are essential.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Partner with Digital Lead to manage Two Sigma’s digital presence across relevant platforms including LinkedIn, Glassdoor and others.
- Find opportunities for paid and organic social strategies to reach potential candidates.
- Improve the efficiency of careers website and application experience at Two Sigma to boost conversion rates.
Recruitment Event Support
- Work alongside Recruitment team to organize and implement engagement in important recruitment conferences, campus, and other networking events.
- Collaborate with Creative Design & Production Studio to invent and implement on-site conference and campus experiences that build talent engagement.
Team & Collaboration
- Partner with Recruitment team and hiring managers to understand evolving talent needs and translate them into effective marketing strategies.
- Work with and manage third-party agencies and vendors as needed.
You must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in talent marketing, employer branding, or related brand marketing roles. Experience within the investment management industry strongly preferred. Experience in the technology industry is also a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with ability to create compelling content for technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using marketing analytics tools and platforms.
- Experience with digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining the highest quality standards and delivering to deadlines.
- Experience working in a complex organizational structure; ability to partner across teams, functions, and levels of seniority in an effective manner.
- Deep intellectual curiosity; highly collaborative and adaptable; strong desire to try new things and encourage innovation.

The base pay for this role will be between $150,000 and $225,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
