At Two Sigma, our people are our most important asset and it’s essential that we keep all 1,300 of them informed, inspired, and engaged. Our Internal Communications team plays an integral role in this effort and we’re looking for a internal communications professional to join us. You’ll help support both our foundational communications programs as well as our ever-growing strategic communications initiatives. Collectively, these endeavors drive employee awareness and engagement, and further Two Sigma’s culture and human capital agenda.

What you’ll do here:

  • Employ the unique Two Sigma tone to ensure that all communications consistently resonate with our people

  • Support content development and drive execution across written and in-person internal communications channels. This includes (and of course isn’t limited to): presentations for Town Halls, speaker series, and new hire orientation events; and editing content for our company news and updates.

  • Support our work with colleagues in HR and our business areas to create content that answers key business needs and challenges. You’ll also need to coordinate with Marketing teammates, HR, our internal Events team, and third-party vendors regularly.

  • Support collaboration on external communications and media relations to ensure alignment between internal and external messages

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Your expertise—you’re a strong writer with excellent and effective verbal communication skills.

  • Your people skills—you can manage relationships and work cross-functionally, juggle projects and partners, and earn trust from senior stakeholders.

What you’re like:

  • A natural communicator and trusted advisor

  • Quick-thinking, hard-working, and fast-learning

  • Independent, but collaborative

  • An extremely organized stickler for details

  • Proactive and able to establish and meet deadlines

  • Calm and agile in fast-paced situations

What experience you need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in English / Literature, Communications, or Journalism

  • You must have 2-4 years of experience in an innovative internal and talent-focused communications role (either at a leading PR firm or in-house at a technology or finance company).
