CONTRACT ROLE: 12 month duration.

As a member of the L&D team, the Learning and Development coordinator will be responsible for the planning and execution for various learning events across Two Sigma. They will act as the first point of contact for internal attendees as well as external speakers, and ensure that we continue to foster a culture of continued learning and growth. They will work with teams across the organization to facilitate a number of training programs and prepare content, oversee the learning management system, upload and update training materials, track metrics, confirm logistics, and prepare reports as needed. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • 2+ years of work experience, and at least 1 of those years at a large (1,000+ employee) organization (preferably at a high growth organization)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Exhibits a strong customer service focused approach and has an ability to build and maintain relationships with employees and management across all levels and functions in an organization
  • Impeccable attention to detail and an ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using a learning management system preferred (Cornerstone a plus)
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times 
  • Demonstrate sound judgment skills - ability to context switch, prioritize work, and manage up  
  • A professional interest or passion for L&D, and creating an extraordinary employee experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with various teams across the organization to provide additional support for internal and external events, meetings, and presentations
  • Serves as a key contact for external vendors and speakers to maintain a high level of customer service
  • Maintains the LMS including updates, process improvements, and tracking
  • Responsible for program metrics & analysis, and determines trends that impact business success
  • Updates internal newsletter and develops additional communication methods to promote L&D programs
  • Organizes coordination for L&D and HR events from initial marketing to implementation, including but not limited to: scheduling rooms, set up, invitations, and preparation of agendas and meeting materials
  • Provides general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms, spreadsheets, and reports, arranging meetings, processing reports and documents, inventory management, tracking deadlines, compiling materials and project plans
