We are seeking a summer intern to support our Product and Capital Strategy team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience building data tools and conducting quantitative analysis that directly informs strategic decision making. In this role, you will work to build full stack applications and design proposals and initiatives to improve firm utility.
You will take on the following responsibilities:
- Design and build interactive dashboards and web applications using React and Python backends that visualize portfolio performance and trading analytics with views specifically utilized by senior leadership
- Build ETL pipelines and data processing systems
- Leverage datasets from across the firm to identify potential opportunities for growth or trade improvement and frame/package analytics into actionable proposals for senior leadership, including the CIO
You should possess the following qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in a technical or quantitative discipline, like statistics, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science
- Strong programming skills in Python and some experience building web applications with React or a similar front-end tool
- Experience with data manipulation in Python (pandas, numpy) through coursework or projects
- Strong quantitative reasoning skills and ability to translate complex analytical concepts into technical requirements
- Familiar with modern portfolio theory

The weekly base pay for this role will be $2,115/Week based on academic degree conferred. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
