Venn is Two Sigma's portfolio analytics platform used by asset owners, asset managers, and advisors. Venn applies Two Sigma's expertise in research, data science, and technology to modernize the analytics experience for institutional investors, helping them embrace a quantitative approach to multi-asset portfolio risk and investment decision making. The tools available in Venn help investors perform factor-based risk analysis to inform manager due diligence, investment evaluation, and portfolio construction.
We are seeking an experienced product manager to accelerate our customer understanding, help define Venn’s direction, and deliver impactful solutions. We are customer-obsessed, engineering-driven, and deeply analytical - if you are too, we’d love to meet you!

You will take on the following responsibilities:
  • Interacting with clients to understand their needs, and communicating your insights back to your team.
  • Analyzing product performance and user behavior to understand what’s working, identify what’s not, and suggest ways we can improve.
  • Clarifying the “Why” behind potential initiatives, and working with engineers, designers, quantitative researchers, and business partners to define features that meet user and business goals.
  • Partnering with engineers, designers, and QA to explore, iterate, and release solutions with agility and at high quality.
  • Collaborating with marketing, client solutions, and other partner teams to successfully launch your features.
  • Prioritizing and setting Venn's roadmap.
You possess the following qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required with BA/BS degree; 7-10 years of experience preferred; building and delivering SaaS products targeting institutional clients; having worked directly with engineers and designers, and have managed 2+ software development projects from ideation through post-release support; FinTech preferred.
  • Quantitative thinking: You think in distributions, decompositions, and correlations and are clearly able to communicate in these terms.
  • User-centric mindset: You are great at empathizing with individual users, but also at stepping back to think about what will be best for the whole user base - now and in the future.
  • Organization: You know where you want things to go, and you stay on top of the details to make sure you and your team get there.
  • Creativity: You come up with simple, effective solutions to complicated problems. You can do this for UX/UI issues, data issues, and process issues.
  • Collaborative nature: You are an excellent partner for your engineering and design teammates, and also have a history of building strong relationships outside of your team with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are sophisticated in B2B customer interactions.

The base pay for this role will be between $165,000 and $325,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
