Our Senior HR Generalist team specializes in providing a single, friendly HR point of contact via our Ask HR platform for employees to reach out to with questions or concerns. We handle employee questions and issues relating to company policies, benefits, payroll, or any other related inquiries, from one centralized group. In addition to our company-facing support, we also provide operational support for our HR teams with an eye towards improving and scaling existing business processes. Do you need help? Just Ask HR!

We are looking for someone to join our team to help us provide superior client service, advice, and support across all Two Sigma offices. Due to the nature of HR problems, our first priority is providing accurate assistance quickly with a high degree of empathy and confidentiality to our employees. In this role you will become an expert on a broad array of HR policies, processes, and tools.
You will take on the following responsibilities: 
  • Partner with HR teams and subject matter experts (Benefits, Immigration, Compensation, etc.) to deliver a seamless one-HR experience and ensure all tasks and inquiries are handled accurately
  • Provide real-time solutions to employees and managers via email, Slack, and phone in a fast-paced environment, following up to ensure issues are fully resolved
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding for new hire cohorts, including Workday data entry, background checks, immigration verification, and orientation coordination
  • Maintain data integrity across HRIS platforms by conducting regular data audits and ensuring adherence to standardized procedures across all HR tools
  • Maintain efficient service delivery by completing requests within SLA based on priority and complexity, operating with an eye toward consistency and scaling
  • Follow and update process documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed

You should possess the following qualifications: 
  • A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or customer/client-facing roles in multifaceted, fast-paced environments 
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Outlook (inbox management), Office suite, and Google Workspace 
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or human resources information systems (HRIS) preferred, or general experience with help desk technology 
  • Ability to stay on top of multiple systems feeding information (Slack, case management tools, applicant tracking systems, Workday)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency and grace
  • Lateral thinking with incredible attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise discretion, work independently, and adapt quickly to new systems
  • Strong customer service focus, patience when handling tough cases
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and willingness to help others

The base pay for this role will be between $85,000 and $110,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
