Full Cycle Technical Recruiter

Two Sigma is seeking an experienced technical recruiter to find, engage and recruit the world’s most talented technologists for Two Sigma’s Engineering teams.  In this role, you will interact closely with candidates as well as members of our Recruiting, HR, and Engineering teams across the company. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with HR Business Partners, Engineering Hiring Managers and Leadership to understand and define hiring needs and goals;
  • Partnering with Hiring Managers to design effective and calibrated interview processes;
  • Seeking out, developing, and executing new and innovative sourcing strategies;
  • Keeping stake holders apprised of search status by maintaining high quality data reports and performance metrics;
  • Representing Two Sigma’s mission, brand, and hiring goals internally and externally;
  • Facilitating hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers;
  • Driving the offer process, generating offer documents, and closing candidates;

Requirements Include:

  • A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record;
  • Prior experience working at a recruiting agency or executive search firm is strongly desired;
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
  • Broad knowledge of technology and finance industries is strongly desired, but not required;
  • Ability to exercise discretion and work independently;
  • Analytically minded, metrics driven, organized approach to recruiting;
  • Strong client relationship building and networking abilities;
  • Aptitude and interest for learning new businesses and technologies;
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on recruiting experience within dynamic, fast-paced environments;
  • Broad knowledge of programming languages, web technologies, software development processes, and emerging technologies.
  • Developing effective strategies and channels for sourcing candidates.  Channels include but are not limited to:  social recruiting tools, user groups, employee referrals, networking, web sourcing, and hosting and attending meetups and other events;
  • Engaging targets, clearly communicating Two Sigma’s vision and potential opportunities;
