The Modeling Engineering Project Management team seeks to increase productivity for Modeling Engineering teams. Partnering closely with project leads to define, prioritize, and execute projects, we provide clear and frequent communication, track milestones, manage risk, and foster alignment across the organization. The person in this role manages key initiatives that advance the capabilities of our leading data science platform and owns critical business operations metrics, dashboards, and reports. 

 

You will take on the following responsibilities: 

  • Drive planning, implementation and execution in an agile fashion including running Agile Scrums.

  • Determine the scope of projects including development of milestones and adherence to the full project life cycle.

  • Own the generation, review and delivery of key business reports and dashboards.

  • Contribute to and advocate adherence to project management best practices.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships, clarify responsibility and own communications to a variety of internal stakeholders.

  • Build and manage project backlogs.

  • Identify potential project blockers and create risk mitigation plans.

You should possess the following qualifications:

  •  A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record. 

  • 5+ years of professional project management experience in a highly technical environment.

  • Demonstrated history of leadership and success in managing cross-organizational technology releases.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to adjust communications across multiple audiences.

  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of initiatives and be accountable for success.

  • Highly proficient in productivity tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs), collaboration tools (Confluence, Wiki, Jira, etc.), and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, etc.).
