Two Sigma Ventures is an early-stage venture capital fund leveraging the resources of a world-class data and technology driven asset management firm. We invest in transformative companies that are harnessing information growth and computing power to change the world. 

Through our partnership with Two Sigma, we provide entrepreneurs access to a proprietary network of experts and startup resources to give them a competitive edge. As an early-stage investor, we focus primarily on seed to Series B investment opportunities, and we lead rounds when we believe we can be especially helpful to the company. We often participate in multiple funding rounds throughout the lifecycle of a company, and we always strive to support portfolio companies as they grow. We do not have a specific industry focus, but rather invest across verticals in companies using data science and advanced engineering to transform their industry. We’re seeking an intern to work closely with our team to on growing our brand presence across a number of digital and offline channels. 

You will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Write content for our monthly newsletters, blog, social media feeds, and website

  • Produce original articles and thematic research (i.e. writing, interviewing, editing content)

  • Further messaging and communication strategies for our business and portfolio companies

  • Develop strategies for emerging content channels (e.g. podcasts, video, Quora, Instagram)

  • Work on projects related to the optimization and performance of our digital marketing and content strategies (e.g. data collection and analytics, reporting, A/B testing, SEO, etc.) 

You should possess the following qualifications:

  • A college or grad school student interested in an internship based in New York City

  • Demonstrated interest in venture capital and the tech startup ecosystem

  • Available to work in our SoHo office at least 10-20 hours a week

  • Exceptional writing, creativity, and editorial aptitude

  • Familiarity with marketing and content strategy

  • Graphic design a plus
