We are seeking a dedicated compliance officer to join our growing Shanghai team. You'll be part of a close knit, dynamic team of hardworking individuals critical to the success of Two Sigma's China business. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out routine compliance programs to ensure the policies and procedures put in place are running well. You will also be involved in projects and initiatives that help further develop our China businesses. The candidate will be a team player with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams. You will take on the following responsibilities:
- Review investor onboarding documents for AML/KYC purposes
- Manage Code of Ethics, including through periodic review to ensure the policies and procedures are properly implemented and followed
- Develop and review internal compliance inspection and reports
- Manage regulatory reporting, including by filing regular and ad-hoc information disclosure reports to AMAC
- Assist with drafting and updating internal policies and procedures
- Facilitate document retention and management
You should possess the following qualifications:
- Strong academic record with a Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of working experience as a compliance officer in the financial industry
- Oral and written fluency in English
- Strong written communication skills
- Eager to learn and develop with the fast-changing industry
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- AMAC “Exam for Fund Practicing Qualification” preferred
- Product knowledge of various financial instruments such as equities, bonds, and derivatives
